Upon receipt of your application, ISABS will send you e-mail verifying the membership type for which you are applying and confirming your new Applicant status. Membership Committee will review your application and within a month you will be notified of the outcome. Your status remains Applicant until you are notified of the official committee approval. If your application is approved, you will receive an invoice for your annual dues along with your notification of approval. Your membership is activated upon receipt of your dues payment.

Upgrade Membership

Student or Associate ISABS member can upgrade to Regular Member after 2 years of membership. Two recommendations by the regular members of the Association are required. Upgrade is also possible by the resolution of the President of the Association.
We are honored to offer you and your company individual or collective membership in ISABS. Your membership will contribute to achieve the goals that are according to our vision on Croatian science in the future.

Upgrade to Retired Member

Regular ISABS member can upgrade to Retired Member if meets one of the following requirements:

25 years of the regular membership in the Association, at least 60 years of age and full retirement in the area of applied biological sciences;
20 years of regular membership in the Association, at least 65 years of age and full retirement in the area of applied biological sciences;
20 years of regular membership in the Association, at least 70 years of age;
15 years of regular membership in the Association, at least 75 years of age;
10 years of regular membership in the Association, at least 80 years of age.

Upgrade to Honorary Member:

The Members' Assembly shall appoint such persons that significantly contributed with their work to promotion and success of the Association to the status of a honorary member of the Association.
